NoiseTech is proud to announce a new version of cryogenic USB-controlled dual SPDT switches (C-SW00160-S2). These will replace the original C-SW0160 switches and will provide much improved thermalization (i.e. thermal resistance between their internal circuitry and the cryostat cold plate is much reduced). The new switches incorporate an optional temperature sensor. The two SPDT switches can be used individually or together and operate from 0.01GHz to 6GHz frequency range.
When used for noise parameter measurements, the switches permit switching in the network analyzer and the noise meter. This operation would otherwise be performed manually. Avoiding manual efforts permits automated measurements of the same circuits at different temperatures or biasing settings.
The application for the switches include: noise parameter measurements at room temperatures and cryogenic temperatures, quantum computing, and other applications where USB controlled switches are required.
